The "School Bridge Loan" (Prêt Relais Scolaire) is a short-term financing facility designed for private schools in Lubumbashi to cover their cash flow needs—such as teacher salaries, rent and utility costs, minor renovations, the purchase of supplies or uniforms, and exam-related expenses. It is available exclusively to private educational institutions (at the primary, secondary, or higher education levels) that are officially registered and have been in operation for at least one academic year.

What amount can I borrow, and for what duration?
Maximum amount of USD 10,000. Maximum term of 4 months: interest only for the first 3 months; principal and interest in the 4th month.
What guarantee is required?
Vehicle in good condition (appraised and insured), land title, or school furniture/equipment (desks, computers, water dispensers). The land title and the vehicle may be combined.
Who Can Borrow
Any registered private school in Lubumbashi (primary, secondary, or higher education) that holds a valid operating license and has been in operation for at least one full academic year.
Reimbursement Method
Postdated cheques, paybill, or direct credit. Single disbursement to the school account via RTGS/EFT.
